Jay Kang is a motorcycling mechanic who can’t seem to catch a break. Julie Sanchez is a community college student by day and a singer by night who writes music about the type of tough girl she’s only ever dreamed about.
Though they’ve both lived most of their lives in the same small town on the Jersey Shore, the two butches never really paid each other much attention, always lingering on the outskirts of each other’s lives.
An open mic night brings Jay and Romeo together after years of missed connections but will they be able to love each other through the self doubt that comes from being with another butch?
